C# provides easy interface to convert image.

Following is the simple example.

using System.Drawing.Imaging;

Image image = Image.FromFile("test.bmp");
image.Save("test.jpg", ImageFormat.Jpeg);

Above is PNG to jpeg. You can convert Jpeg to PNG as following.
